What is monday.com?
monday.com is a work management app built around colourful boards. Each board is a table of items (tasks, clients, campaigns, orders) with columns for owner, status, due date and anything else you track. You can switch the same board to a Kanban, calendar, timeline or Gantt view, build dashboards across boards, and set automations like "when status changes to Done, notify the client manager".
The AI sits on top of your boards. Sidekick is an assistant that understands your work and can answer questions, draft updates and take actions. AI columns fill in data for you, such as sorting requests or summarising notes on every row. Agents can be set to do jobs across your boards, and Standard and up add an AI meeting notetaker. AI use draws from a monthly pool of credits that comes with each paid plan.
The catch: AI starts on Basic, but the useful bits (AI columns and the notetaker) need Standard or higher. Seats are sold in bundles starting at 3, so a two-person team still pays for three. There's an official monday.com connector for Claude, so Claude can read and update your boards.
