About

Hey, I'm Sam

I've spent 10+ years in digital marketing and currently run a 7-figure agency. I also make videos about AI tools, showing simple ways to use them in your business.

That agency is Pulp Digital, an eCommerce digital marketing agency in Melbourne.

This site is where I keep the AI tools, MCPs and Claude Code skills I rate, plus the step-by-step guides behind my videos. It's written for marketers, founders and small teams who want results from AI without becoming engineers.

How a tool gets into the directory

Tools are added by hand, never by submission form or payment. A tool earns a spot if it does a real job for a business better than the alternatives, or if it's one people keep asking me about. Tools that stop being worth it come out.

How the weekly rankings work

The category rankings are re-scored every Monday from public signals: how many people search for each tool, whether that demand is growing, and how much it's discussed online. Last week's score is blended in so one noisy week can't reshuffle a list. Rankings measure popularity, not quality. That's what the ratings are for.

How the ratings work

Each tool is scored out of 5 on five things: ease of use, features, output quality, value for money, and speed and reliability. The overall score is the average. Plans and prices come from the vendor's own pricing page, and every profile shows the date they were last checked. Prices change often, so check the vendor's site before you buy.

When I've personally gone through a profile and signed off its ratings, the tool page says Reviewed by Sam Despo with the date. Community reviews are separate, come from readers, and are shown next to my rating rather than mixed into it.
