What is it?

Zapier links thousands of apps together. When something happens in one app, such as a new form entry or a paid invoice, it does the next step in another, like adding a row to a spreadsheet or sending a Slack message.

You build each automation (a Zap) by picking a trigger and some actions from menus. It has the biggest app library of any tool here, so if a service exists, Zapier probably connects to it. Newer additions include tables, simple interfaces and AI steps, so you can build small internal tools without leaving it.

It gets expensive as your volume grows, and the free plan only allows simple two-step automations. If you are running thousands of tasks a month, Make or n8n will cost far less.
