What is it?

Gamma builds presentations for you. Type a topic, paste notes or upload a document, and it writes the content, lays out the slides and picks images. Most people have a usable deck in under ten minutes.

Its format is a card-based page rather than a rigid 16:9 slide, so the same file works as a deck, a scrollable document or a simple website. You can still export to PowerPoint or PDF. It has an API, so you can ask Claude Code to generate decks from your content automatically.

Designs look great but are harder to make strictly on-brand than PowerPoint, and the free credits run out once rather than refreshing.

Who it's for

Anyone who dreads building slides and would rather start from a finished draft than a blank template.

Best for

  • Pitch decks from notes
  • Internal updates and proposals
  • Turning a document into slides
  • Simple one-page websites

Why it made the list

It is the fastest route from rough notes to a deck people are happy to present, and the best-known tool in this category.
