What is it?

If your business runs on Google, Gemini is already in the tools you open every day. In Docs it drafts and rewrites, in Slides it builds slides and images, in Sheets it writes formulas and tidies data, and in Gmail it summarises threads and drafts replies.

The advantage over a separate chat tool is context: it can pull from your Drive files, calendar and email when you ask it something. Claude Code can also work with your Docs and Drive through Google's connectors, so the two play nicely together.

Quality varies by task. Slides generation is useful for a first pass but still needs a human tidy, and the full feature set depends on which Workspace plan you are on.
