What is it?

ElevenLabs turns text into speech that sounds like a person, not a robot. Paste a script, pick a voice (or clone your own from a short recording) and download the audio.

People use it for video voiceovers, podcast intros, audiobooks, voice agents on phones and websites, and dubbing videos into other languages. It also does sound effects and music. Its official connection to Claude means you can have Claude write a script and produce the audio in one go.

The free tier is for trying it out; anything you publish commercially needs a paid plan.
