Adobe Podcast

Adobe Podcast is a free web app from Adobe built around one tool people love: Enhance Speech. Upload a voice recording made on a laptop mic, in an echoey room or at a noisy event, and it returns a version that sounds like it was recorded in a studio. Paid users can also enhance video files, upload in bulk and set how much speech, music and background sound to keep. The app also has a browser-based Studio for recording and editing, and a Mic Check that tells you how to improve your set-up before you record.

Pick it when the content is good but the audio is bad: a client interview recorded over Zoom, a webinar, a voiceover recorded at your desk, or a podcast guest with a poor mic. It is far simpler than cleaning audio in Premiere or DaVinci Resolve, and the free version is enough for most one-off fixes. Descript has a similar Studio Sound feature built into its editor, and Krisp removes noise live during calls.

The catch: push it too hard and voices can sound robotic or muffled, especially on very poor recordings, so listen back before you publish. Since August 2026, Adobe sells Premium as part of the Firefly Pro plan rather than on its own.
