What is Attio?

Attio is a CRM (customer relationship manager, the app that keeps track of your leads, customers and deals) that builds itself. Connect your email and calendar and it creates a record for every person and company you talk to, then enriches each one with details like job title, company size and funding. You see who you've emailed, when you last met and how strong the relationship is, without typing it in.

You can shape it like a spreadsheet or a Notion database: add your own fields and lists for deals, partners, investors or hires. On top sit Ask Attio, where you ask questions like "what did we forecast this week?" in your own words, AI agents that research companies, score leads and draft emails, plus workflows, email sequences and call recording with notes on Pro. It has an official connector in Claude's directory too.

The catch: AI features run on monthly credits, and heavy use means buying more. The free plan caps you at 3 seats and 200 emails a month, call recording and sequences need Pro at $79 a seat billed yearly, and its flexibility means a little setup thinking at the start. Pick Attio over Pipedrive if your relationships matter more than a fixed sales process, such as fundraising, partnerships or startup sales.
