What is it?

Muse is Meta's attempt at a personal assistant that does things rather than just answers. Connect your email, calendar and accounts, then ask it to book a table, lower a bill, turn a recipe into a shopping list or send party invites, and it works through the steps for you.

It lives on the web, iPhone, Android, iPad and inside WhatsApp, so you can hand it a task from wherever you already are. It asks before it sends an email or spends money, and you choose which accounts it can reach.

It launched in the US first, and giving a Meta product access to your inbox, calendar and payments is a decision worth making deliberately. Early reviews praise the breadth more than the reliability.
