When something happens in one app, Zapier does the next step in another. No code needed.

Composio
Plug Claude or ChatGPT into 1,500+ apps so it can send the email, not just draft it.
Reviewed by Sam Despo on
Quick take
- One connection gives Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code access to more than 1,500 apps, so the assistant can do the task rather than tell you how.
- The free Hobby plan includes 100,000 tool calls a month, which is far more than one person will use. Pro is $29 a month with $29 of usage included, then $0.0003 a call.
- It is built first for developers, so the dashboard and docs talk in SDKs and toolkits. The no-code Claude and ChatGPT setup is simple, but expect some jargon.
- It gives an assistant actions, not schedules. For automations that run on a trigger without you asking, pair it with or pick Zapier, Make or n8n.
What is Composio?
Composio is the layer between an AI assistant and your apps. Connect it once to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code, sign in to Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, Notion and the rest, and the assistant can take real actions in them: send the email, update the deal, post the message, create the issue.
It does the fiddly part for you: signing in to each app, storing and refreshing the logins, and giving the AI a clean set of actions to choose from. More than 1,500 apps are covered, and you can add your own tools or MCP servers alongside them. Developers use the same platform to give the agents they build access to their customers' accounts.
Pick it over Zapier MCP when you want lots of apps through one connection without each action eating tasks from a Zapier plan. It is not a workflow builder, though. There is no canvas or schedule, so for automations that run on their own, Zapier, Make or n8n are still the right tool.
