Popular small-business accounting app, with AI that sorts expenses and chases invoices.

Ramp
Company cards and expenses where AI collects receipts, codes spend and checks your rules.
Quick take
- Company cards, expenses, bill pay, travel and reimbursements in one place, and the free plan covers a lot of it.
- Ramp chases receipts by text or Slack, matches them and codes each expense, so month-end takes far less time.
- Plus costs $15 per user a month plus a platform fee based on team size, and adds AI expense reviews and approval suggestions.
- Only US-registered companies, LLCs and partnerships can apply. Sole traders and non-US businesses are out.
- The card must be paid off in full, and Ramp looks at your cash balance before approving you.
What is Ramp?
Ramp gives your team company cards and takes care of the paperwork behind them. Every staff member gets a physical or virtual card with limits you set. When they buy something, Ramp asks for the receipt by text or Slack, matches it, codes the expense to the right account and syncs it to QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite. It also pays bills, books travel, handles reimbursements, tracks software contracts and sends invoices to customers.
The AI does the checking a finance person used to do. It reads invoices, suggests who should approve them, codes each line, reviews expenses against your policy and locks cards when someone ignores the rules (Plus plan). Ramp also has an API, and builders use it to connect Ramp to AI tools like Claude.
The catch: Ramp is for US-registered companies, LLCs and partnerships only, so sole traders and businesses outside the US can't sign up. The card is a charge card that you pay off in full, and Ramp checks your cash balance before approving you. The paid plan's platform fee depends on team size, so ask for the full price.
