What is it?

Recraft is an image generator built for designers rather than artists. The difference is output: it can produce proper vector files (SVG), which scale to any size and can be edited shape by shape.

That makes it genuinely useful for logos, icon sets, illustrations in a consistent house style and mockups. You can train it on your own brand style so everything it makes matches. There is an API, so developers can generate assets from Claude Code.

Free-plan images are public and lack a commercial licence, so budget for a paid plan if the work is for a business.

Who it's for

Designers, marketers and founders who need brand assets they can keep editing, not one-off images.
