Automates messy operations data jobs like reconciliations, reports and invoice audits.

Quick take

  • Built for batch data jobs: pull, clean, match and report, every week, the same way.
  • Each step is visible, so finance and ops teams can check the logic rather than trust a black box.
  • Now fronted by an AI chat called Prowork that builds Flows from a description.
  • Free self-serve plan for one user; team pricing is by quote.

What is Parabola?

Parabola automates the spreadsheet work that operations and finance teams repeat every week: pulling exports from Shopify, NetSuite, a 3PL and the bank, cleaning them, matching them up and producing a report or a list of problems to fix. You build "Flows" as visible steps you can inspect, and it now has an AI chat front end (branded Prowork by Parabola) where you describe the process and it builds the steps for you. It is used by many well-known ecommerce brands such as SKIMS, Brooklinen and AG1.

Pick it when the job is turning messy data from several systems into a reconciled report, such as inventory counts, parcel invoice audits or three-way PO matching. Zapier and Make are better for moving single records between apps as events happen. Airtable is a database, not a data-cleaning pipeline. Parabola sits in between, for batch data work that would otherwise live in a giant spreadsheet.

The catch: self-serve is limited to one user and a small credit allowance, and team plans are sales-quoted with no public prices. Complex Flows still take time to learn, and the move to the Prowork branding means older guides and pricing you find online are out of date.
