OpenArt

Make consistent characters, short stories and videos using over 100 AI models in one app.

PaidFrom $14/moWorks with Claude Code

Quick take

  • Built around stories: keep one character consistent, then turn a prompt into a short video or a multi-scene film.
  • Over 100 models in one credit balance, with a Chat Mode that chooses for you.
  • Credits drain fast on video, monthly credits don't roll over, and refunds are rare. Start monthly, not yearly.
  • Starter has no commercial rights, so business users should budget for Plus.
  • Director often burns several times its quoted credits on results users call unusable. Test it on something short first.

What is OpenArt?

OpenArt bundles more than 100 image, video and audio models (Nano Banana, GPT Image, Seedream, Kling, Seedance, Veo, FLUX and more) behind one credit balance. Its focus is storytelling: create a character once and keep the same face across images and clips, turn a prompt into a short story video in one click, or use Director to plan and build a multi-scene video up to five minutes long.

That makes it popular for faceless YouTube and TikTok channels, music videos, UGC-style ads and picture books. There is a Chat Mode that picks models and settings for you, a Brand Kit for logos and colours, and an MCP so Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can generate through your account.

Pick it over Leonardo or Higgsfield when consistent characters and stories are the point. The catch is credits: Trustpilot is split between happy users and people who say credits drained fast on video, failed results were still charged and refunds were refused. The cheapest plan doesn't include commercial rights.
