Netlify puts websites online with very little setup. Connect a GitHub project, deploy straight from an AI builder, or drag a folder onto the page, and the site is live with a free web address, SSL and a global network behind it. Every change gets a preview link, and built-in forms, functions and file storage cover what most marketing sites need.

It has leaned into AI builders. Bolt and many other tools can publish to Netlify directly, new projects stay private until you choose to publish, and Agent Runners let an AI agent fix and update your site from the Netlify dashboard. It also has an AI Gateway, a built-in Postgres database and an MCP server so Claude Code can deploy for you.

The catch is the credit system. Every plan now runs on monthly credits that cover deploys, traffic and computing, and each production deploy uses 15 of them. On the free plan's 300 credits that's tight if you publish often, and you'll need to keep an eye on usage as traffic grows.
