Sales engagement platform for sequences, calls, deals and forecasting, with AI agents.

Gong
Records and analyses sales calls and emails to coach reps and forecast deals.
Quick take
- The deepest sales call analysis tool around: transcripts, deal risk, rep coaching and forecasting in one place.
- No public pricing. Expect a yearly platform fee plus per-user licences, reported by buyers at roughly $1,400–1,600 per user a year.
- Annual or multi-year contracts are the norm, and renewal price rises come up often in reviews.
- Built for sales teams of ten or more. A solo founder or small team just wanting call notes should use Fathom or Fireflies.
What is Gong?
Gong records your team's sales calls, video meetings and emails, transcribes them and uses AI to pull out what matters: what the customer said, competitors mentioned, next steps and deal risks. Managers get dashboards showing which deals are slipping and how each rep runs a call, and the AI writes call summaries and follow-up emails and updates the CRM. Newer add-ons cover outreach sequences (Engage), forecasting (Forecast) and coaching (Enable).
Pick it when you run a sales team of ten or more and want to know why deals are won or lost, coach reps from real calls and forecast with more than gut feel. For simply recording meetings and getting notes, Fathom, Fireflies or Granola do that for a fraction of the price.
The catch is price and contracts. Gong does not publish prices; buyers on Reddit and review sites report a platform fee of several thousand dollars a year plus around $1,400–1,600 per user a year, usually on annual or multi-year terms, with renewal increases a common gripe. Small teams often find they use a fraction of what they pay for.
