What is it?

Airtable is the spreadsheet-database many small businesses run on. This connector lets Claude work with your bases the way a colleague would: find the records, update them, add a column, leave a comment.

You create a personal access token in Airtable, choose which bases it can see, and paste it into the install command. Only grant write permission if you want Claude changing data.

It is a community project rather than an official Airtable release, though it is widely used and still maintained.

  • List your bases and describe each table's fields
  • Search and read records
  • Create, update and delete records
  • Add new tables and fields
  • Read and leave comments on records

Install in Claude Code

Open your terminal in the project folder and run:

You'll be asked to sign in or paste an API key the first time you use it.
