Supabase gives an app its database, logins and file storage. This connector lets Claude work inside your project directly: add a table, write the query, deploy the function, then check the logs when it misbehaves.
You can lock it to a single project and to read-only mode by adding ?project_ref=YOUR_PROJECT&read_only=true to the URL, which is the sensible default for anything with real data in it.
