Zapier MCP

Gives Claude a way to act in thousands of apps you already use through Zapier.

What is it?

Zapier connects to more apps than anyone. Its connector lets Claude use any of them, so one connection covers Gmail, Google Calendar, Sheets, HubSpot, Xero and the rest, without a separate server for each.

You sign in with your Zapier account and pick which apps and actions Claude is allowed to use. Every action is logged in Zapier's history, so you can see exactly what it did.

The trade-off is cost: each call uses two Zapier tasks, which adds up on the free plan if Claude is busy.

What Claude can do once it's connected

  • Send an email from Gmail or Outlook
  • Add a calendar event or a row to Google Sheets
  • Create a lead in your CRM
  • Search for the right action across 9,000+ apps
  • Run a small piece of code when no standard action fits

Install in Claude Code

Open your terminal in the project folder and run:

Command
claude mcp add --transport http "Zapier-MCP" https://mcp.zapier.com/api/v1/connect

You'll be asked to sign in or paste an API key the first time you use it.

Who it's for

Non-technical people who want Claude working in their everyday apps with one setup.

Best for

  • Sending emails and invites
  • Logging leads
  • Covering apps with no MCP

Why it made the list

It is the shortcut to Gmail, Calendar, Sheets and a few thousand other apps when no official connector exists.
