Turn a photo or a sentence into a 3D model you can print, animate or drop into a game.

Spline
Design interactive 3D for websites and apps in your browser, with AI that builds scenes.
Quick take
- Browser-based 3D design for websites and apps, much easier than Blender.
- AI builds and edits scenes and generates 3D models, textures and images from a prompt.
- Exports to web embeds, video, iPhone and Android apps and code, with an MCP server for Claude.
- The free plan has no AI and adds a watermark. Hobby is $12/seat/mo yearly, Pro $25.
- Heavy scenes can slow your site on older phones.
What is Spline?
Spline is a 3D design tool that runs in your browser. You build 3D objects and scenes, add animation and interactions (things that move when someone hovers, scrolls or clicks), then embed them on your website, often as an eye-catching hero section. It's much easier than traditional 3D software like Blender.
Its AI agent can build and edit scenes for you, and it generates 3D models, textures and images from a prompt. You can export to a web embed, video, image files, iPhone and Android apps, or code. It has an MCP server, so Claude can work in your Spline files too. A newer 2D editor handles flat designs from the same account.
The catch: the free plan has no AI, adds a watermark and limits your files. Heavy 3D scenes can slow a website down on older phones, and building anything detailed still takes some learning.
