What is it?

This plugin adds six review agents, each with one job. One checks that code comments are still accurate. One looks for gaps in the tests. One hunts for silent failures, where an error gets swallowed and nobody finds out. Others review type design (how the code describes its data), general quality and anything that could be simpler.

Ask for one kind of check and Claude picks the matching agent. Ask for a full review and it runs the lot. It overlaps with the Code Review plugin. Code Review gives you a short list of likely bugs, and this one goes deeper on quality.

Install in Claude Code

In Claude Code run /plugin install pr-review-toolkit@claude-plugins-official. Run /pr-review-toolkit:review-pr for a full review, or just ask for one kind of check, like "review the error handling".

Try this prompt

Paste into Claude Code
I'm about to open a pull request. Check the test coverage, look for silent failures and simplify anything that's harder to read than it needs to be.

Who it's for

Anyone shipping changes with Claude Code who wants the code to stay easy to work on later.

Best for

  • Thorough review before merging
  • Checking tests cover the edge cases
  • Finding swallowed errors
  • Simplifying code Claude wrote

Why it made the list

The silent-failure hunter alone catches the kind of bug that otherwise only shows up when a customer complains.
