Commit commands

One command to save your work with a clear message, push it and open a pull request.

What is it?

Git is the system that keeps a history of your code, and committing is how you save a checkpoint. This plugin adds a /commit command that looks at what changed, writes a message in the style of your project's past commits, and saves it. A second command also pushes the work online and opens a pull request for review in one go.

Without it, you are typing git commands or asking Claude to each time. With it, saving work is one short command, and it avoids committing secret files like passwords by mistake.

Install in Claude Code

In Claude Code run /plugin install commit-commands@claude-plugins-official. You then get /commit, /commit-push-pr and /clean_gone as commands.

Try this prompt

Paste into Claude Code
/commit-push-pr
