Blender MCP
Design
Lets Claude build 3D scenes, models and materials in Blender from a prompt.

Lets Claude build scenes, write C# scripts and run tests inside the Unity editor.
Unity MCP connects Claude to the Unity game engine. Ask for "a cube with physics that bounces when the player jumps on it" and Claude builds the GameObject, writes the C# script, attaches it and reads the console to fix any errors. It covers scenes, prefabs, materials, animation, UI, tests and builds, with around 40 to 50 tools.
Setup happens inside Unity. Add the package from its git URL in Package Manager, then open Window > MCP for Unity and click Configure All Detected Clients, which wires up Claude Code for you. It needs Unity 2021.3 or later, Python and uv, and Unity has to be open while you work.
It's a community project from Coplay and isn't affiliated with Unity Technologies. Unity has since released its own official MCP inside the Unity AI Assistant package (Unity 6 and later), but this is the one most developers are using.
Open your terminal in the project folder and run:
claude mcp add --transport http unityMCP http://localhost:8080/mcpOther ways to set it up:
# 1. In Unity: Package Manager > Add package from git URL
https://github.com/CoplayDev/unity-mcp.git?path=/MCPForUnity#main
# 2. Window > MCP for Unity > Configure All Detected ClientsGame developers and hobbyists building in Unity.
Why it made the list
It's the most popular game-engine MCP by a long way, and it lets Claude actually build inside the editor.
