Memory (reference server)
Databases & Data
Gives Claude a notebook of facts about you and your projects that lasts between chats.

Gives Claude one long-term memory that your other AI apps can share.
Supermemory is a memory that sits outside any one AI app. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and something you tell one of them ("our brand colour is #FF5A1F", "the client hates the word synergy") is there in the others.
It isn't in Claude's connector directory, so on the web or desktop add it as a custom connector under Settings > Connectors with the address https://mcp.supermemory.ai/mcp. In Claude Code, run the command below. You sign in through your browser and pick which spaces Claude can use.
If you only use Claude, Claude's own memory or the free Memory MCP may be enough. Supermemory earns its place when you switch between several AI apps or want a team to share one memory.
Open your terminal (the text window where you run Claude Code) in your project folder, then paste this command to connect it:
claude mcp add --transport http supermemory https://mcp.supermemory.ai/mcpThe first time you use it, you'll be asked to sign in or paste an API key (a private code from the app that lets Claude use your account).
People who use several AI apps and are tired of repeating themselves to each one.
Why it made the list
