Airtable MCP
Databases & Data
Lets Claude read, search and update records in your Airtable bases.
Gives Claude a notebook of facts about you and your projects that lasts between chats.
Claude normally forgets everything when a session ends. This small server gives it a local notebook, stored as a file on your computer, where it can save facts and look them up again next time.
It stores a simple web of entities (a client, a project, a tool) and observations about each. Tell Claude to "remember that the Acme site deploys on Fridays" and it will still know in a month.
It is a reference implementation from the MCP project, meant to show what is possible, so it is basic. For most people that is exactly enough.
Open your terminal in the project folder and run:
claude mcp add memory -- npx -y @modelcontextprotocol/server-memoryOr add this to your project's .mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"memory": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "@modelcontextprotocol/server-memory"],
"env": { "MEMORY_FILE_PATH": "/path/to/memory.jsonl" }
}
}
}Anyone who is tired of re-explaining their setup at the start of every session.
Why it made the list
It is the simplest way to give Claude Code persistent memory, with no account or service involved.
