Microsoft 365 MCP

Anthropic built this connector so Claude can search your company's Microsoft 365. Ask "what did the client say about the quote last week?" or "find the latest pricing deck on SharePoint", and Claude looks through Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive with your own permissions.

Turn it on in Claude under Settings > Connectors. It's for work and school accounts only, so outlook.com and hotmail.com addresses won't work. The first time, a Microsoft admin for your company has to approve it once. On Claude Team and Enterprise, a Claude owner switches it on first too.

It finds and reads. It doesn't send email or post in Teams for you.

Open your terminal (the text window where you run Claude Code) in your project folder, then paste this command to connect it:

# Then type /mcp inside Claude Code. Microsoft 365 shows up once it's connected in Claude (Settings > Connectors) and you're signed in with the same Claude account.

The first time you use it, you'll be asked to sign in or paste an API key (a private code from the app that lets Claude use your account).
