Zoom MCP

Zoom for Claude is Zoom's official connector. Ask "recap this afternoon's budget meeting" or "show me where John mentioned blockers" and Claude pulls the summary, transcript and recording, and can even open the recording at the right moment.

On the web or desktop it's easy: add Zoom for Claude from the connector directory under Settings > Connectors. Claude Code is harder, because Zoom wants you to register your own app in the Zoom App Marketplace first.

It leans on Zoom's AI Companion. Meeting summaries and smart recording need to be on, meetings need to be recorded to the cloud for the video features, and you need a paid Zoom Workplace plan.

Open your terminal (the text window where you run Claude Code) in your project folder, then paste this command to connect it:

claude mcp add --transport http --client-id YOUR_CLIENT_ID --client-secret --callback-port 8080 zoom https://mcp.zoom.us/mcp/zoom/streamable

# In Claude on the web or desktop, skip all this: add "Zoom for Claude" from the connector directory.

The first time you use it, you'll be asked to sign in or paste an API key (a private code from the app that lets Claude use your account).
