Google Workspace MCP
Productivity & Comms
Gives Claude your Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs and Sheets so it can draft and organise.

Lets Claude build and edit real Excel workbooks: formulas, charts, pivots and all.
Claude is good at numbers but normally hands you a CSV. This server lets it produce a proper Excel file: formatted sheets, working formulas, charts, PivotTables and conditional formatting. Think a cleaned-up sales report or a budget model you can send straight to a client.
It writes the .xlsx file directly, so you don't need Excel installed, and it works on Mac, Windows and Linux. It even calculates around 260 Excel functions itself, so Claude can check its formulas give the right answer. It needs uv. In Claude Desktop you can use the one-click .mcpb bundle instead.
Keep the --allow-dir flag: it limits Claude to one folder of workbooks. Add --read-only if you only want analysis. It never runs macros.
Open your terminal in the project folder and run:
claude mcp add excel --scope user -- uvx excel-mcp-server stdio --allow-dir ~/Documents/SpreadsheetsMarketers, founders and analysts who live in spreadsheets.
