ClickUp MCP

ClickUp's official connector lets Claude work inside your workspace. Ask it to create this week's tasks from a brief, write a status update from what got done, or log two hours against a client task, and it does it in ClickUp.

It's in Claude's connector directory, so on the web or desktop you add it under Settings > Connectors. In Claude Code, run the command below, then type /mcp to sign in.

Each plan has a daily cap on actions: 100 a day on Free Forever, 300 on Unlimited and 1,000 on Business. That's plenty for everyday use, but a big bulk job can hit it.

• Create, update and bulk-edit tasks with assignees, priorities and dates
• Search tasks, docs and comments to find an answer
• Write status reports and release notes from your tasks
• Start and stop timers, and log time
• Summarise long comment threads and pull out action items

Open your terminal (the text window where you run Claude Code) in your project folder, then paste this command to connect it:

claude mcp add --transport http clickup https://mcp.clickup.com/mcp

The first time you use it, you'll be asked to sign in or paste an API key (a private code from the app that lets Claude use your account).
