Which plan to pickMost people should simply use Free; it covers more than the paid tiers of its rivals. Only move to Team or Business when several people need to search each other's calls or you want notes landing in HubSpot or Salesforce without lifting a finger.Pro on the yearly plan is the only one that makes sense for an individual; the monthly price is steep. Free is really a taster for the meeting notes, not the inbox. Team is only worth it when several people handle the same clients.Beginner is fine until you hit the five-project wall. Pro on the yearly plan is the obvious move after that. Business is for teams who want a shared space; it is not a substitute for a real project tool.

Pros and cons

AttributeFathomFyxerTodoist
Pros
  • Unlimited free recordings and transcripts, no catch
  • Video means you can replay and clip moments, not just read about them
  • Summaries arrive almost instantly after the call
  • CRM sync is the real thing for sales teams
  • Official Claude connection
  • Zero learning curve; drafts just appear in your normal inbox
  • Drafts match your tone well after a week or two
  • Sorting alone makes a noisy inbox manageable
  • Meeting notes and follow-up emails in the same tool
  • Fastest task capture of anything here
  • Works on every device you own and syncs instantly
  • Cheap, with a free plan that covers a lot
  • Natural language dates and repeats just work
  • Official Claude connection
Cons
  • A recording bot joins most calls and some clients find it off-putting
  • Built for video calls; in-person meetings are not its strength
  • The fuller AI summaries are capped unless you pay
  • Pricing tiers are confusing, with Premium costing more than Team
  • Expensive, and monthly billing is much dearer than yearly
  • Mis-sorts important emails occasionally
  • The free plan leaves out the inbox features people want it for
  • Credit limits on meetings and chat are hard to predict
  • Full access to your inbox is a lot of trust to hand a young company
  • Not a project management tool: no timelines, dependencies or dashboards
  • Prices went up at the end of 2025
  • Business plan lacks single sign-on
  • The AI features are light compared with the rest of the category
