Which plan to pickMost people should simply use Free; it covers more than the paid tiers of its rivals. Only move to Team or Business when several people need to search each other's calls or you want notes landing in HubSpot or Salesforce without lifting a finger.Pro on the yearly plan is the only one that makes sense for an individual; the monthly price is steep. Free is really a taster for the meeting notes, not the inbox. Team is only worth it when several people handle the same clients.Use Free until you catch yourself wishing the AI was there. Then Pro. Plus and Max only make sense if Raycast becomes your main way of talking to AI, and most people already pay for Claude or ChatGPT separately.

Pros and cons

AttributeFathomFyxerRaycast
Pros
  • Unlimited free recordings and transcripts, no catch
  • Video means you can replay and clip moments, not just read about them
  • Summaries arrive almost instantly after the call
  • CRM sync is the real thing for sales teams
  • Official Claude connection
  • Zero learning curve; drafts just appear in your normal inbox
  • Drafts match your tone well after a week or two

  • The free plan is excellent and most people never need more
  • Instant and rock solid; it never seems to lag
  • Huge extension library covering most business apps
  • AI from any app with one shortcut

Cons
  • A recording bot joins most calls and some clients find it off-putting
  • Built for video calls; in-person meetings are not its strength
  • The fuller AI summaries are capped unless you pay
  • Pricing tiers are confusing, with Premium costing more than Team
  • Expensive, and monthly billing is much dearer than yearly
  • Mis-sorts important emails occasionally
  • The free plan leaves out the inbox features people want it for
  • Credit limits on meetings and chat are hard to predict
  • Full access to your inbox is a lot of trust to hand a young company
  • Power-user tool; the benefit depends on learning shortcuts
  • AI credits run out fast on Pro if you use it heavily
  • Paying for Raycast AI on top of Claude or ChatGPT feels like double paying
  • Windows version is newer and has fewer extensions
