Poe

Quora's app for using hundreds of AI models and bots under one subscription.

FreemiumFrom $4.99/moWorks with Claude Code

Quick take

  • One app and one bill for hundreds of models, from GPT and Claude to image, video and voice models, plus community bots.
  • Plans run from $4.99 to $249.99 a month and pay out in points. The $19.99 plan is the one most people need, at around 660,000 points a month after a July cut.
  • The free tier was cut from about 3,000 to 300 points a day in March 2026, which is a few messages on a top model.
  • In October Poe moved popular text models to per-token pricing, and users report the same message now costing two to three times the points, with the per-message budget cap no longer applying to official bots. If you mostly use one model, a direct ChatGPT or Claude subscription goes further.

What is Poe?

Poe, from Quora, puts hundreds of AI models in one app: GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, image models, video models and voice models, plus thousands of bots other people have built on top of them. You pay one subscription and spend points on whichever model suits the job.

Pick it over a single ChatGPT or Claude subscription when you want to switch between models without paying for each one, or try a new model on release day. Group chats let you and your team talk to several models at once, and there's an API that uses the same points.

The catch is points. Every model costs a different amount, long chats cost more, and Poe has cut what you get several times this year: the free allowance fell about 90% in March, the $19.99 plan's monthly points dropped in July, and an October change to token-based pricing made many messages cost far more. Heavy users of the top models usually get more from a direct subscription.
