What is it?

Grammarly sits in your browser, email, Word and Google Docs and underlines mistakes as you type. It catches typos, clumsy sentences and the wrong tone before anyone else sees them.

The paid plan goes further: it rewrites a paragraph to be shorter or friendlier, drafts a reply from a few words, and checks that your writing sounds like you. Because it works everywhere, there's nothing new to learn.

It can be fussy about perfectly good sentences, and the constant suggestions annoy some writers. Turn it down rather than off.

Anyone who writes emails, documents or social posts and wants a quiet second pair of eyes.
