What is it?

A library of skills that change how Claude approaches building software. Before writing code it asks what you are actually trying to do, writes a short design you can read, breaks the work into small tasks, writes tests before code, checks its own work, and tidies up at the end. The skills trigger on their own, so you do not have to remember commands.

Without it, Claude tends to start coding immediately and drift. With it, bigger jobs run for long stretches without going off the rails, and the plan is something you can actually follow.

It is opinionated. If you just want a quick one-line change, the questions can feel like overhead, and you can say so.

Install in Claude Code

In Claude Code run /plugin install superpowers@claude-plugins-official. Or add the author's marketplace with /plugin marketplace add obra/superpowers-marketplace, then /plugin install superpowers@superpowers-marketplace.
