What is it?

This reads the session history Claude Code keeps on your computer and builds a single web page you can explore: total tokens, which projects and skills used the most, how many subagents (helper agents) ran, how well caching worked and the most expensive prompts.

At the top Claude writes three to five short findings, like one project eating 40% of the week, and at the bottom a few specific suggestions to cut usage. Nothing leaves your computer.

Claude Code's built-in /insights also builds a report from your sessions, focused on how you work. This one is all about where the tokens went.

Install in Claude Code

You need Node.js. In Claude Code run /plugin install session-report@claude-plugins-official, then ask for a session report. It covers the last 7 days unless you ask for another range, like 24h, 30d or all.

Try this prompt

Paste into Claude Code
Make me a session report for the last 30 days and tell me which projects and prompts used the most.
