Claude Remember

Keeps a short daily diary of your sessions and reads it back when the next one starts.

What is it?

A lighter alternative to Claude-Mem. It saves each session automatically, summarises it with Claude's cheapest model into a running daily log, folds days into weeks, and loads the result back in when a new session starts. There is a handover note from the last session and a longer archive behind it.

Without it, every session is a blank slate. With it, Claude starts the day already knowing what you worked on, what broke and what you agreed, in a few hundred words rather than a full transcript.

It is plain text files on your machine, which is easy to read and back up, but it has fewer search features than Claude-Mem.

Install in Claude Code

In Claude Code run /plugin install remember@claude-plugins-official, then restart Claude Code. It needs Python 3.9 or newer and the jq tool on your computer, both standard on a Mac. The author's own marketplace is /plugin marketplace add Digital-Process-Tools/claude-marketplace, then /plugin install remember@dpt-plugins.
