Productivity & Comms
Mac app that lets Claude use your Messages, Contacts, Calendar, Reminders and Notes.

Lets Claude see your Mac screen, take screenshots and click and type in apps.
Peekaboo gives Claude eyes and hands on your Mac. It can screenshot an app, work out what's on screen, then click, type and use menus. That lets Claude do things in apps that have no connector of their own, or check how something it built actually looks.
It needs Node.js 22 or later, plus Screen Recording and Accessibility permission in macOS settings. The tool that answers questions about a picture also needs an AI key (OpenAI, Anthropic or a local Ollama model).
Being able to click anything is powerful, so watch the first few runs. It started as Peter Steinberger's project and now lives under OpenClaw.
Open your terminal (the text window where you run Claude Code) in your project folder, then paste this command to connect it:
claude mcp add peekaboo -- npx -y @steipete/peekaboo mcpOr add this to your project's .mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"peekaboo": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "@steipete/peekaboo", "mcp"]
}
}
}Mac users who want Claude to work in apps that don't have their own connector.
