Intercom MCP

Intercom holds every chat your customers have had with you. Its official connector lets Claude dig through it, so you can ask "what are the top five complaints this month?" or "pull every conversation that mentions the refund bug" and get an answer in seconds.

In Claude's connector directory it's a one-click add under Settings > Connectors, but that version only connects to US-hosted workspaces. EU workspaces add it as a custom connector with the EU address. Australian-hosted workspaces aren't supported yet.

Claude can add internal notes (only your team sees them) and edit Help Center articles, but it doesn't reply to customers through this connector.

Open your terminal (the text window where you run Claude Code) in your project folder, then paste this command to connect it:

claude mcp add --transport http intercom https://mcp.intercom.com/mcp

Other ways to set it up:

The first time you use it, you'll be asked to sign in or paste an API key (a private code from the app that lets Claude use your account).
