Browser & Search
Gives Claude a real web browser so it can click around, test and screenshot sites.

Gives Claude a real browser, your own Chrome or a cloud one, to finish web tasks.
Browser Use is one of the most popular open-source projects for letting AI drive a browser. This server gives Claude Code a real browser to finish web jobs, like "check the prices on these five supplier sites" or "fill in this form for each row of my spreadsheet".
By default it drives the Chrome you already have open. The first time, Chrome asks you to allow remote debugging. It needs uv installed. For work on a server, or lots of browsers at once, it can use Browser Use's cloud browsers instead, which cost $0.02 an hour plus proxy data.
Anthropic's Claude in Chrome does a similar job but needs a paid Claude plan signed in. Browser Use works with any Claude Code login, including an API key.
Open your terminal (the text window where you run Claude Code) in your project folder, then paste this command to connect it:
claude mcp add browser-use -- uvx --python 3.12 browser-use@latest --cli-mcpOther ways to set it up:
# Or install Browser Use's plugin, which sets up the same thing:
claude plugin install browser-use@claude-plugins-official
# Cloud browsers only (no Chrome needed), with an API key from cloud.browser-use.com:
claude mcp add -t http -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" browser-use https://api.browser-use.com/v3/mcpAnyone who wants Claude to do repetitive jobs on websites that have no connector.
