Apify MCP

Apify runs the world's biggest marketplace of ready-made web scrapers, which it calls Actors. Its official MCP server lets Claude search that marketplace, pick the right scraper for the job, run it and bring back the data. Ask for "every coffee shop in Brisbane on Google Maps with a rating over 4.5" or "the last 50 posts from these Instagram accounts" and Claude handles the whole thing.

It's a favourite with marketers for lead lists, competitor research, social listening and trend spotting, because the scrapers already deal with the hard sites. It's hosted, so add it and sign in with your Apify account. In Claude Code, Apify recommends its plugin, which adds helpful skills on top.

The free plan comes with monthly credits, which go a long way for small jobs. Big runs use more, and some community scrapers charge per result, so Claude can check the price before running one. Usage data is on by default; add ?telemetry-enabled=false to the URL to switch it off.
