What is it?

Firecrawl fetches web pages and strips them down to the text that matters, so Claude can actually read them. Point it at a competitor's site, a documentation portal or your own blog and ask questions.

Where Playwright drives a browser one click at a time, Firecrawl is built for volume: crawl 200 pages, bring back the content, summarise it. Sign in through your browser, or run it locally with an API key.

Heavy crawling costs credits, so watch usage if you set it loose on a large site.
