Which plan to pickStart with the free credits on a real job. If you retouch a few hundred photos a month, Basic Plus brings each photo to well under 10 cents. Pay as you go suits occasional work but costs two to three times as much per photo. Remember credits are lost if you let a yearly plan lapse for more than 30 days.Start on Starter if it is just you. Move to Professional when you have a developer or second designer involved, and put them on a cheaper dev or collab seat rather than a full seat. Organization and Enterprise are for companies, not small businesses.Treat Free as a demo, not a plan, because everything you make is public. Plus covers a normal week of social and ad graphics. Only step up to Pro if you are testing many ad variations a day.

Cons

  • Steep learning curve for anyone who is not a designer
  • Seat types and per-seat pricing are confusing for small teams
