Which plan to pickIf you already pay for Claude Pro, you have it. If not, try Design on the Free plan and move to Pro when the daily limits get in the way, which happens quickly once you're iterating on a deck. Team makes sense when several people need the same brand setup.Use the free credits to make two or three decks and judge the output. If you'll keep using it, Plus is the sensible step because it removes the badge and refreshes credits monthly. Only move to Pro if you want the API, custom domains or viewer analytics.Start on Free, which is enough to decide if the editor suits you. A solo consultant should move to Plus for clean PowerPoint exports. A sales team of three or more should go straight to Team for the shared credits and viewer tracking.

Pros and cons

AttributeClaude DesignGammaPitch
Pros
  • Matches your brand far better than other generators
  • No extra subscription if you already use Claude
  • Handles decks, pages and prototypes in one place
  • Clean hand-off to Claude Code for building
  • You refine by talking, which non-designers find natural
  • Fastest route from notes to a presentable deck
  • Designs look polished without any design skill
  • One file works as a deck, document or web page
  • The agent makes rewrites and restyles painless
  • API and connectors mean it fits into automated workflows
  • Best collaboration features in the category
  • Templates and brand controls that non-designers can follow
  • Viewer analytics tell you what happens after you hit send
  • Free plan is enough for small teams to work in
  • Desktop apps and a clean, fast editor
Cons
  • Still new, so layouts occasionally need manual fixing
  • Slower to generate than Gamma
  • Uses up your Claude usage limits, which bite on Free and Pro
  • No standalone API for automated deck generation
  • Free credits are a one-off, so the free plan runs out
  • Hard to keep strictly on brand across many decks
  • Credits drain quickly if you regenerate images often
  • Exports to PowerPoint don't always keep the layout intact
  • AI credits are modest and the free batch never renews
  • Free plan exports carry Pitch branding and skip PowerPoint
  • Pricing is in euros, so your bill moves with the exchange rate
  • Fewer AI design flourishes than Gamma, so drafts need more hands-on work
