Which plan to pickStart on Pro to see which jobs it handles well for you. If you hand it real work most days you will hit the limits, and Max is the plan that makes it a daily tool.Use the 14-day trial properly, then decide if the chat alone is worth $20 a month to you. Better Days at $100 only makes sense if the Morning Brief and meeting prep save you real time every day. Existing users keep their free AI for now, with 30 days' notice before that changes, and Windows users aren't on the paid plans yet. There's nothing to buy. Budget for the AI model instead: a cheaper model or a local one keeps costs to a few dollars a month, while a top model running all day can cost $50 or more. Check your AI provider's rules first, because Google and Anthropic have both restricted using personal subscriptions with it at times in 2026.

Cons

  • Still rolling out: Team and Free don't have the merged version yet
  • New Mac users lose the AI after the trial unless they pay $20 or $100 a month
  • Arc users miss Spaces, nested folders and Little Arc

  • Reports of freezes, crashes and heavy battery use on Mac
  • Memory was removed in September 2026, and new sign-ups now need an Atlassian account

  • Hard to set up and keep running: users report weeks of tinkering, memory leaks and updates that break things
  • AI costs are unpredictable when it runs all day
