PPT Master

Turns a document or topic into a real, editable PowerPoint deck with native charts.

What is it?

Give it a PDF, Word file, web page or pasted notes and it builds a PowerPoint deck you can edit like one a person made: slide masters, real shapes, and charts and tables you can click into and change. It works out the argument first, then designs the slides, and confirms the format and page count with you before it starts.

Already have a deck? Ask it to fill your existing .pptx with new content and it keeps the design and any slides you didn't touch exactly as they were. It can also add speaker notes.

It overlaps with Anthropic's own pptx skill. This one goes further on design and native charts, but setup takes a terminal and Python. The README is crowded with sponsor links for third-party API resellers. You don't need any of them; Claude Code on your normal plan works.

Install in Claude Code

You need Python 3.10 or newer. In a terminal run git clone https://github.com/hugohe3/ppt-master.git, then cd ppt-master and pip install -r requirements.txt, and open Claude Code in that folder. It can also be added as a plugin: /plugin marketplace add hugohe3/ppt-master, then /plugin install ppt-master@ppt-master.

Who it's for

Consultants, finance people and founders who turn reports into decks every month.

Best for

  • Report or PDF into a deck
  • Board and investor updates
  • Refreshing last quarter's deck
  • Data-heavy slides

Why it made the list

The charts and tables stay editable in PowerPoint, which is where most AI slide tools fall down.
