Claude Code Setup
Coding Workflows
Looks at your project and recommends the hooks, skills and MCPs worth adding.

Claude pauses at key decisions and has you write that part, so you learn as you build.
Normally Claude Code writes everything. In Learning mode it does the setup and repetitive parts itself, then stops at the meaningful choices, such as how a discount should be calculated or what happens when a payment fails. It explains the options and asks you to write five to ten lines yourself.
It also adds short "Insight" notes that explain why the code is built the way it is. You finish the task and understand your own project a little better.
Claude Code now includes a Learning output style, so you can try it without installing anything. The plugin adds the same instructions to every session automatically. Both make sessions longer and use more of your plan.
The quickest way is built in: in Claude Code type /output-style and pick Learning. The plugin version turns it on in every session: run /plugin install learning-output-style@claude-plugins-official.
Add a discount code field to my checkout page. I want to learn how it works, so let me write the important parts.Beginners building with Claude Code who want to understand the code they end up with.
Why it made the list
It's the easiest way to stop Claude Code becoming a black box you can't fix when it breaks.
