Word documents (docx)

Have Claude write and edit real Word files, with headings, tables and tracked changes.

What is it?

A skill is a folder of instructions that teaches Claude how to do one job properly. This one teaches Claude to produce and edit genuine .docx files: headings, tables of contents, page numbers, images, comments and tracked changes, not a wall of text you paste into Word yourself.

Without it, Claude can describe a document but struggles to build a correctly formatted file. With it, Claude follows the same playbook that powers file creation inside the Claude app, including reading a client's existing document and editing it with tracked changes.

It is source-available rather than open source, which only matters if you want to modify and redistribute it.

Install in Claude Code
