Coding Workflows
Proven engineering habits for Claude: grill your plan, write specs and tickets, then test.

Every's plan, build, review loop that writes down what it learns for the next job.
Every, the company behind the Every newsletter, built this from how its own team codes with AI. The loop has six steps: /ce-brainstorm to agree the requirements, /ce-plan, /ce-work to build, /ce-simplify-code, /ce-code-review, then /ce-compound to write down what was learned.
That last step is the point. Lessons go into a folder in your project, and the next brainstorm and plan read them first, so a mistake made once isn't made again. Once a plan is agreed, /lfg runs the rest of the loop hands-off, from building through review, browser tests and committing.
There are 37 skills in all, which is a lot to learn. Start with the six-step loop and add the rest as you need them.
In Claude Code run /plugin marketplace add EveryInc/compound-engineering-plugin, then /plugin install compound-engineering@compound-engineering-plugin. Run /ce-setup once in your project, and /ce-help any time you're not sure what's next.

Why it made the list
It's the clearest answer to Claude repeating the same mistakes, and Every uses it to build its own products.
