A suite of plugins from Anthropic, one per area of legal practice: commercial, privacy, product, corporate, employment, litigation, regulatory, AI governance and IP, plus versions for law students and legal clinics. Each one starts with an interview that learns your playbook and preferred positions.
Inside are dozens of named agents for whole jobs, such as an NDA Triager that sorts incoming NDAs into green, yellow and red, a Vendor Agreement Reviewer, a DSAR Responder for privacy data requests and a Trademark Clearance Screener. Some run on a schedule, like a Renewal Watcher that flags contracts about to auto-renew.
Every output is a draft for a lawyer to review, and none of it is legal advice. It goes much deeper than Anthropic's Knowledge Work Legal plugin, which suits generalists better. This one is built for lawyers and in-house legal teams.
Install in Claude Code
In Claude Cowork, add the plugins from https://github.com/anthropics/claude-for-legal (the repo has a setup video). In Claude Code run /plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-for-legal, then install the practice area you need, such as /plugin install commercial-legal@claude-for-legal. Choose user scope, restart Claude Code, then run /commercial-legal:cold-start-interview to set it up.
