Which plan to pickFree is enough to see if the clips are any good. Starter removes the watermark, but Pro is the plan most people end up on: it adds the scheduler, all 9 posting platforms, extra brand templates, 16:9 and 1:1 reframing and export to Premiere. Business only makes sense for agencies or media teams.Pro is the one for almost everyone: 2,500 credits is around 500 songs, with commercial rights and 20 downloads a month. Go Premier only if you need stems and the Studio editor, or you download more than 20 tracks a month. If you already pay for Google AI Pro, you have Veo; use it through Flow for the most control. Developers should start on the API with Veo 3.1 Fast at $0.10 a second and only move to the Standard model for hero shots.

Pros and cons

AttributeOpusClipSunoGoogle Veo
Pros

  • Personas keep a consistent sound across a series
  • Realistic motion and physics with sound built in
  • Vertical video and reference images for consistent characters

Cons
  • Built for talking content, so it's weak on cinematic or screen-recorded videos
  • Credits run out quickly on long videos and repeated edits
  • The scheduler, team seats and Premiere export need Pro
  • AI Producer is still in beta, with a 5-minute limit per video
  • Monthly download caps even on paid plans
  • Lyrics can be generic unless you write your own
  • Little control over the fine detail of an arrangement
  • Unresolved lawsuits over training data
  • Clips are short and credits go quickly on the Standard model
